WW2 photos of funeral in Germany with SS men attending?

I have inherited some photos of a funeral somewhere in Germany? There is the open grave before burial, huge flower wreath being carried by soldiers, and what look like high ranking SS men at the ceremony, medals being carried etc. They are small b %26amp; w with crinkle edges. I have contacted the War Museum in London via email and they sent me an order form for photos!. How can I find out what and who they are?

If you go here and scroll down the page you'll find pics of Reinhard Heydrich, a high ranking SS officer and I think that it is funeral.

This may help you.
Reply:SS men? Are you kidding me? Why in the world would you even consider keeping them? SS men were eternally faithful to Hitler. They were the non feeling inhumane men that tortured and killed hundreds of thousands of men, women and children just because they thought they were superior. Genocide in its worse case, and you actually care to find out who these men are. I would burn them. It would turn my stomach to see such men proudly donning medals of terror. Who cares who they are. If they have hats with skulls, the best thing to do would be to destroy the photos. I would pity someone who would even consider selling them for profit. But it is your conscious...not mine.
Reply:Try to get pictures of all high ranking SS officers and then see who you've got. I have some pictures like that but from a different era. My great great grandfather was an officer of the Prussian army.
Reply:It could be the funeral of Hydrich he was assassinated in Poland in the 1940's he was a favourite of Hitler so there would have been a big turn out.
Reply:they would have to be pretty high ranking for anyone to identify them from their faces or their uniforms alone. Can't you get more information from the source of the photos? Do you know where the photos were taken? In any case, don't get your hopes up that these are worth any money. In Germany lots of people have such photos stuck somewhere in the attic.
